Help! (I am not jaded)
You see me here, finally!
I shall begin by doing this:

Let's not start with the rigid rules and regulations.
10 weird things/ habits/ little known facts about Jean.
1. I have a boring life, and you'll see why.
2. I never expected myself to work in F&B, but I am glad that I am working at Fish&Co. now, really(:
3. I have a tiny tattoo, but I am proud of it. I won't stop at one because I am desiring for more. I have got some lovely ideas churning in my head already. I don't have a history for my tattoo, but I vividly recall that I got it on 5 July 2008.
4. I have a navel piercing as well and I had it since 30 August this year. My little tattoo is just above it.
5. I have the habit of looking at myself in the mirror before I go to bed.
6. Nabilah said that I fidget a lot when I am sitting down.
7. I have a little collection of Beauty and the Beast's stuff because I adore Belle to bits. (Puerile, I know.)
8. I once flunk my Chinese oral examination.
9. I aspire to be a psychologist/ psychoanalyst/ psychiatrist since I was eight. Escapologist sounds cool too, but it doesn't seem like a good profession to me. I want to be a mixologist too!
10. I love money! Haha.

Anyway, I am working at Tampines Mall Fish & Co. currently. Never imagined myself to work there, honestly. I love my job so far. I love being a runner. I love my colleagues. Nabilah, Lynn, Anne and I are lucky to have an outstanding trainer, Nadz. I have so much more to tell, but well, not everything has to be said.

Growing gulf.

Bratty and I went out to shop!
16 November 2008, Sunday:
It was a wonderful morning, with a wonderful weather, a wonderful sun and wonderful clouds. I woke up from my wonderful sleep and took a wonderful bath.
I set off from home to meet Amanda first before heading to Anne's house together. Every step we took by foot were complaints on how heavy our bags were. I have no idea why my bag so really bulky. I mean, I tried to remove many many many redundant stuff lest my bag is laden with unnecessary items, but no, it was still a huge obese bag.
With time on our hand, we watched Prom Night whilst waiting for everything to fall in place. Anne's dad drove us to National Service Resort Country Club, SAFRA, which was where our chalet was, to check in for us. It is at Tanah Merah and Anne and I were surprised at the change. The chalets look so much better. This time, the colours of the chalet were more vibrant and the interiors were more modern. It looked better than my last visit.
I loved the part when our class played some interactive games, apart from Mahjong. At the end of the chalet, I was the only left who doesn't know how to play Mahjong. Haha. So, 4/6 played the games before settling down for Disturbia. Anne's favourite since Shia was in it. I sat on the floor with Shayne and he kept on snatching my pillow! Everyone sprawled all over the couch and floor before the television set. It was fun.
Then I went to bed with Syafiqah and Siska joined us afterwards. I can lose everything but my beauty sleep. Oh oh, that place is infested with lizards and you know, lizards scare the sonofab*tch out of me!
I can still see lizards even if I am purblind. Destitute of vision does not affect my sight for those $%@#& lizards.
17 November 2008, Monday:
Next fine morning, I woke up really early and I can't remember why. We watched Final Destination 3 in the morning which was pretty odd to me, but who cares, I loved that flick. Then I had gastric which thankfully didn't kill me. But when the Horny Bananas went to the bowling alley for our lunch, my gastric happily evolved to heartburn after I ate. That was worse. So whilst Amanda accompanied me back to our chalet, Anne, Siska and Syafiqah stayed on to play. I immediately curled myself up in the couch, in hopes of soothing the pain. It was Shayne and the rest's turn to go out, but out of Syafiqah's so-called community. Amanda asked Wei Ting to get a magazine for her. I jumped out of the couch and pestered Timothy to go with me, since I wanted to get some magazines too. So we walked and talked, talked and walked. The pain was worse when I got out, but at least it killed my boredom, somehow. Timothy was really sweet to have accompanied me out because I know he didn't have the intention of leaving the chalet. Mark was with us too as we bumped into him on our way to Bedok.
When we got back to the chalet, I plopped myself onto the couch and Shayne came.
Jean: I'm bored.
Shayne: I know what you need.
(Reaches out for the guitar.)
Jean: Can we go upstairs instead?
Shayne: Okay.
(Enters room.)
(Anne, Amanda, Timothy and Mark are in the room.)
Anne: What are you two doing here? (Giggles)
Jean: Nothing much.
Then Timothy and Shayne took turns at harassing the guitar.
Very soon, Timothy left and all of us crashed whilst Mark was playing with some gadget. Can't recall what was it. We had such a good sleep and we didn't want to get down for the barbecue.
Mrs Koh and Mrs Wong were there first. Next came Ms Chua and Mrs Henry. Such a gathering(:
I realised that Alfred loves prawns too! Both of us like Smarties ice cream (which no one else seemed to have tried it before) and love prawns.
Alfred: Those people who don't like prawns or are allergic to prawns have sad lives.
Haha.
I helped Amanda grill some satays and the humongous prawns when everyone else were busy and I got pretty bored. My eyes had to steer clear from the fumes but it wasn't really that warm. I started naming the satays and prawns. Most of them carried 4/6's names, and some were just random ones. I even chatted with them as they seemed bored too. They took forever to be fully grilled. Then Alfred came along. Amanda and I were trying to tear the prawns' head apart from their hot bodies with a pair of tongs each, whilst Alfred had to fling the heads into the bin from a distance. The flinging part was fun! I tried.
Pop goes the weasel.
Everyone bathed before me because I take ages to bathe. When I was out, many of them crashed on the couch, so I sat on the kitchen top, plugged in to some music, and relaxed.
(Okay, Siska ate many bananas. Yes, that's the spirit of a Horny Banana! I love bananas too.)
Anne came and Shayne sat back against me and he was eating satays, which smelled. Shayne asked me if I wanted to take a stroll outside, I agreed and Anne and Siska tagged along. We found a nice place to sit down and chat so we just sprawled ourselves on the couch. It was so quiet and empty, and surprisingly, not creepy. The only thing that freaked me out were the lizards!
So many many many.
From midnight, we prattled on till about four plus five. We threw our hearts out and discovered many other things about each other. But Anne already knew everything about me. Haha. Anyway, I said one week (seven days!), Anne. Chalet was merely three days. I will fill you in with what happened between us when you are back in Singapore!

When we got back to the chalet, we thought we would be locked out as everyone crashed like they have never slept before. At least Wang Zhen was up and she opened the door for us. Shayne and I threw ourselves onto the bed whilst Anne, Siska and Syafiqah slept downstairs. Amanda slept with both of us too. The other room was occupied by Desmond, Xuan Jie and Timothy. Xuan Jie can really snore, lol.
18 November 2008, Tuesday:
After checking out on the last day, some of us went to eat at Whitesands. That's basically about it. I hate to leave. It's like a small-big family leaving together in a small chalet.
How cosy.
First night, I slept with Siska and Syafiqah. Then Amanda, Jun Ming and Wai Yin took over. Shayne, Vanessa, Alfred and Wei Ting slept together in the really wee hours (near dawn) of the morning.
Second night, Amanda slept with Syafiqah. Then Shayne, Amanda and I took over. Desmond, Xuan Jie and Timothy slept together as well. Timothy felt violated, though. Haha.
How cosy.

Graduation Night.
Aww, my dearest cheese(Shazreen) came to pick me up that day. It was definitely a phenomenal evening for all of us. Well, except of one person who tried to fit in and all, but you know, she doesn't belong here. Ugh, who cares. I am so not going to see her anymore. Woohoooo.
After that evening, Lynn, Nabilah, Anne, Salihah and I traipsed to Downtown East and we settled at Burger King for a drink. Alfred looked so much better with a vest on, really! Everyone looked great that evening.
Adrie, Anne, Nabilah, Ridzuan, Salihah, Zuhaili and I perambulated to the beach at around midnight and Afiq and Michael joined us soon after. It was, cool.
Anonymous lad (barked): What are the smart girls doing here at night? Hahaha.
Jean (yelled): Then what are those stupid boys doing here at night?
